Hubert Guy Bloodstock

Hubert Guy has been working in the Thoroughbred Industry for over 35 years. He began riding at the age of 12 and successfully competed as an amateur in show jumping competitions and in steeplechase races in Europe. In 1978 he won the Fegentri European championship. Hubert also spent time working with trainers Andre Fabre and Alan de Royer-Dupre in his home country of France. 

Hubert first came to the United States in 1981 and worked for US Hall of Fame trainers Charlie Whittingham and Bobby Frankel as well as Julio Canani in California, where he based himself for 35 years.

 Today Hubert lives in Lexington, Kentucky. In addition to attending racing and sales on the East coast of America, Hubert routinely travels back to Europe to source horses from France, England and Italy. His successes with European imports to America include winning four Breeders' Cup Races, 22 Grade I races and more than 52 Graded Stakes races.
